Question regarding the calculator to be released today -
Where in the listing will this calculator be placed?
Is the size shown actual size?
Will we be able to adjust calculation to include delivery confirmation or shipping and handling costs?
Will html be available to manually insert the calculator?
Will you be providing a screen shot that shows the calculator inside a listing so that we have an idea of the look of it?
Also, when today will it be released? I have auctions to launch, but would like to wait for this function and see how it looks before I do.
Will this be available offline for creating auction listings with Vendio listing software?

Hello ice,
We have delayed the release until very late tonight, so it won't be available until early tomorrow. I apologize for any inconvenience.
The calculator is actually a new window that opens when someone wants to determine the shipping. There is a zip code entry field and Calculate button in the shipping section (where the list of carriers and prices are shown). I'll add to the announcement a screenshot of the in listings piece.
The size of the pop-up is pretty much actual size show in the announcement.
The prices shown in the calculator are the fully loaded costs the buyer would see in checkout (assuming no combined shipping discounts are applied). So the S&H calculation adjustments you make will apply here as well as in checkout.
We don't have html in the first release, but I'll add the request for the team.
Also, items listed using SMPro will include the calculator, since it's a global preference in MyAccount.
Thanks for your interest in the new shipping features. We have more on the way as well.
I went to My Account and set my preferences on the shipping calculator, but when I opened SMPro to start listing, the additional shipping choices are not changed.
How will this effect my listings?
For example, if I want to offer Priority and Parcel Post calculated the only listed option on SMPro is Parcel Post.
One other suggestion, will it be possible to seperate mark-ups on the different options.
For example, I only add a handling & delivery confirmation charge to USPS options other than Priority.
The current version of Pro does not support the additional fields at this time. They should be available in the next version. For now, you can schedule your listings in Pro for a future launch date -- unschedule them in pending -- then edit to add the other fields if you want to offer them for the listings you are creating in Pro.
Regarding markups, I will log this as a suggestion.
