Sonya,
Over the last couple of days I have tried everything anyone has suggested to get this synchronization working so I could use SMpro again. From unstall to reinstall. Customer service(bob)via an email with a list of 7 things to check. Went through them all and still the SMPro software does not want to synchronize with your system. It worked before. The only thing I did was add a cordless key board and mouse ( since that I have taken the software for both out to see if that was the problem) No it wasn't.
I am at wits end about this problem. I have downloaded ebays turbo lister and it works fine. No problem with sending my stuff right to ebay.
I have been with you for over 3 years and would hate to change since I was happy with your service.
1. Please go to the Windows Update site (click Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Install the critical updates and Service Packs the site recommends, especially those for Windows and Internet Explorer.

I am having the exact same problem, so I followed your advice as to updating from Microsoft, installing Visual Basic (followed your link), and finally having to uninstall, then downloading and re-installing.
The message I am getting, after it tells me my first image won't upload is below. I do what it says as to deleting that particular image, but it just stops on the next. My images are not too large, so I just can't figure things out.
I have used this service off and on for a couple of years and never really had much trouble. I, too, don't want to change but I am truly bewildered! HELP
Start updating Standard images.
Uploading Image 'Motherchildside.jpg'.
Number of successful listing uploads: 0.
Synchronization failed - Bad response from server
There is a problem with images synchronization.
Please check the sync log, visible after clicking the Details button, to see which image file halted the sync process, then go to www.Vendio.com and check the status of the image.
If its upload failed (which might be due to excessive size, invalid format, or corrupted data), please remove the image from the SMPro Image Bar. If this is not possible, use Windows Explorer to go to the "C:\Program Files\Vendio1104\images" folder on your hard disk, delete the file manually and restart SMPro.
The synch error you are receiving is due to not having an Image Hosting plan selected. Please go online to My Account > My Service Plans to choose an image hosting plan. Once you have signed up for one, you may proceed with synchronizing -- it should go through without any errors.
