I'm just getting started with Sales Manager Pro. I would like to continue posting my images on my own web hosting space rather than putting them on vendio's server. I would also like to use my own description html layout that I've been using on eBay, which includes images. (See item number 4337747675 for an example.) Please explain how I could do this, as the setup wizard doesn't give me the option of using images from my own web server (http://www.culturedaquaria.com/ebay/image_name.jpg)

fyi, my naming convention that I've been using is:

image at top of eBay listing: image_sm.jpg
gallery image: image_thb.jpg
image in item description: image.jpg

Plus, I have an image at the top of my description with my logo, etc. That image is www.culturedaquaria.com/ebay/ebay_banner2.jpg

Thanks, Suz

Hello,

You can use images hosted on your own servers but you will need to insert the HTML for your images into the item description box. Unfortunately for eBay Photo Preview and eBay Gallery images, you will have to either edit the listing on eBay to submit image URLs for those, or use Vendio Image Hosting as the settings for those in My Account depend on you having the images stored in your Vendio account.

If you have your own HTML template you can use online inventory for it -- create an item in your online inventory and store the HTML in your item description box. When you save it, check off the profile item box in the upper right corner to make this item a profile. When you start your listings in Sales Manager, you will be able to select this profile from the drop down above category selection and apply it to your listing -- on the next page you should see your item description box prefilled with the HTML you stored in your inventory profile item.

You can also create a profile using the directions listed here. These directions are based on creating a listing in Sales Manager and saving it to inventory, rather than creating a new item in inventory.

Regards,

Sonya
