I understand the flat cost for ship but I want to add a calculator so customers can figure the rate according to there zip. Can they do that? I don't want to fill in an amount and find out it will cost a lot more to ship to cali then it would to new york. Ebay let's me add a calculator and I revise my ads under ebay to add it to vendio ads. I don't know what the cost of ship is if I don't know where I am shipping it. I don't want to do flat rate.
In order to insert the calculator for your listings, you must first go to Global Preferences and make sure you select calculated options as your default shipping and handling.
Then if you scroll down to the bottom there is a section called Item Listing options. Two options you must celect are the option to insert shipping and handling options into listings, and the option that is a sub-section of it to insert a calculator. Then when you create listings, make sure you are offering a calculated option and it will start showing on your listings. You can do an eBay Preview to check.
I hope this covers your other post, in the future if its about the same issue it's easier to keep everything in one thread so we can be sure that we are answering all of your inquiries.

How do I ad the handling charge to an ad? I got the calculator in the ad now and put in the weight for the item in the ad but where do I ad the handling? I changes on every ad.I did not see antything for a mark up?
You can set options for a markup in My Account > Global Preferences. It should be right after the Shipping and Handling section in a lightly-shaded grey box.
Markups work only for customers who choose a calculated option.
