Hi
I am a new member and I trying to upload all of my inventory to vendio store, and then to ebay and so forth.
So, first I uploaded my inventory from csv file to sales manager pro offline.
1st problem: there is a 55 character limit on title, is there any way to expand that..(i know that's the ebay limit, but what about vendio store items)
2nd problem: when I put in the image url in the image column, it gave an error...need help on what goes there (does the image have to be uploaded from within sales manager pro to be recognized in inventory?)
One good news was that it automatically created inventory folders for all items, saved a lot of work
Then, when I put the inventory in new batch 1, the quantity defaulted to 0!, and I want it to stay at the quantity in stock. Does that mean I would have to change the quantity back to regular count from the default 1 for all items??
After doing the import, the items showed up in my online inventory, but not in my vendio store, until I made a test store category and assigned them to it. Is there any way to automatically create new store folders with new inventory items, just like it created in sales manager pro?
that's it for now, but I am sure i would have a lot more questions as I go on.

I figured out how to correct the quantity problem - by uploading batches instead of inventory in seller manager pro.
That also allows to assign categories within vendio store.
However, I still have the problem of creating folders manually in my vendio store, the 55 character limit in title, and the image problem
Any suggestions?
Also, is there any option to export your entire online inventory to excel or something, rather than just being able to export sales/archived invoices.
Unfortunately there is no way around the 55 character limit currently for the inventory/batch importer in Pro. We will however pass along a note on your behalf to look into changing this in future versions.
As for the image column, the software is just looking for the filename, not the URL for the images. This way it can link the filename of your image to that picture in your Vendio account automatically.

thanks chris
but the inventory export file contains all inventory items ever created, even though only 18 show up right now in my online inventory, which is the right count.
Is there any way to limit that to only active inventory?
Also, can you pass along the suggestion of automatically creating store categories from the values in the csv file.
thanks
