You made a major change in the last edition with regard to the way images are stored. Before I proceed, let me say that I REALLY wish you'd go back to a simple "images" folder with the names I gave my items!
I edited photos in photoshop and saved them to my SMP images folder like I've always done. I launched SMP and "opened" the images. When I went to use a couple I discovered I hadn't resized them and they were too large (and stretched the page.) Since I hadn't yet synched, it should be an easy matter to edit them to size, right? Well, apparently not anymore. The only images I've been able to find are thumbnails. There is nothing in my images folder. And a search of my hard drive turns up nothing with the names I used to save the images.
The new version of Pro does not allow for the usage of the images folder in the Vendio directory (which is what you've been doing, and was allowed in previous versions of Pro). Since we now accomodate image foldering online, we had to change the way images were managed in Pro. We recommend that you begin to use the Images Bar to upload and manage your images in Sales Manager Pro. The old images folder cannot be used for this purpose anymore -- images are named differently in your directory but they are seen with the same name you give them in Pro, and subsequently online. This is why you haven't been able to locate your images by searching the Vendio directory.
Starting with SMPro 6.1, the image names are synched but kept into an images database -- where the correct names can be seen only in the SMPro UI. Your images are kept on the disk with a different and safe name. This allows you to store images with names that vary in upper/lower case such as aaa.jpg and AAA.JPG in Pro -- previously you could not do this.
If you have any other questions or problems using the Pro user interface to manage images, please let us know.
