Can anyone out there help. I have sent two emails in 3 days and no response. You call this customer service. I like everyone, seem to be paying more and more for Vendio services and getting less and less!. Does anyone agree?
Below is the copy of my emails I have sent. I really could use some help form anyone that understands or cares of my situation. Not trying to be rude, but this is not being of a professional business ethic in how support is being offered and responded to. Lots of money is lost weekly as I struggle time and time again with the same problems of lack of support.
Here is the email I have sent repeatedly.
Hello, Once again I am in need of help. For the longest and repeating time I have problems with your SMPRO auction listing program. I keep getting "Run Time Error "0" " which locks me up and I loose all data I have been working on.
Also after contactin ebay about a listing from a day or two ago that did not list. It is in my pending column with ERROR in red (Error Message 240) and I have read the details and have no answer as I have tried everything. Ebay blames you as usual.
What is the deal again with RUN TIME ERROR and Error message 240. ??
I really feel that this service is just average and not improving as I have many of the same problems time and time again. Never no clear fixes or solutions. I will be moving on along with an associate whom feels the same with theirs.
Please solve my issues once and for all.
I apologize for the delay. There are currently several known scenarios that may result in error 240. Please check the following:
1. eBay has updated the password you have on file with them. To resolve this, you will need to log on to eBay and take the following steps:
- Click on the "site map" link at the top of the eBay page.
- Scroll through the "Services" section (top of middle column.)
- Click on the "I forgot my password" link (located in the middle column.)
After entering your eBay ID on this page, bypass the "secret question" and click the "send me password instructions" link near the bottom of the page. An email will then be sent to you from eBay with instructions on completing the password change.
Once you have successfully changed your password at eBay, you will need to update the password on our site. To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to My Account -> Auction Site Accounts. Click the "edit" link next to your eBay ID.
- Enter your new password.
- Save the changes.
2. You are attempting to list an item in a Travel category on eBay before registering for SquareTrade (note that you must be a SquareTrade member before listing to these categories.)
- For more information, and to register for SquareTrade, use this URL:
3. You are attempting to list an item in a Healthcare category that may not meet eBay requirements. For more information on this, please refer to this URL:
You may be able to eliminate the errors by inserting the following text into your listing when listing medical devices:
"The sale of this item may be subject to regulation by the U.S. Food and
Drug Administration and state and local regulatory agencies. If so, do not
bid on this item unless you are an authorized purchaser. If the item is
subject to FDA regulation, I will verify your status as an authorized
purchaser of this item before shipping of the item."
4. You are attempting to list an item in an Wine or Alcohol category. eBay has specific rules and regulations that must be met before listing in these categories. For more information on this, please refer to this URL:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/alcohol.html
If your item is not Wine or Alcohol, please select a different category for it.
5. You are attempting to list an Adult item with Paypal selected as a payment option, which is no longer allowed by eBay. If this is the case, you will need to revise your item and remove Paypal from the list of payment options.
Note also, you must remove any text reference to Paypal from your description and default text. The word "Paypal" in your listing text will cause your listing to fail.
6. You are attempting to list an Adult item and you do not have a credit card on file at eBay. If you do not have a credit card on file, you are required to be ID verified to list Adult items. Please refer to this URL for more information on Adult restrictions:
7. You are attempting to list another type of item that may have restrictions. For a list of eBay restricted and prohibited items, please reference this URL:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/items-ov.html
8. You are flagging your item as an 'Easy To Buy' item, but you have not specified the listing format to be fixed-price. 'Easy To Buy' items must be fixed-price, and other restrictions may apply. Please change the format of your listings to be fixed-price, or remove the 'Easy To Buy' code/reference from your listing descriptions.
Regarding Run Time Error 0 -- you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling Pro. This helps resolve run time errors. If you continue to get this error, please let me know.

I have reinstalled the SMPRO like you suggested and now I have no batches. It did not reload when I synchronized with the online site as it did reload all my pictures. You had said it would save all my batch data. It did not!
Now what.?????
You need to locate the former location of the "batches" folder, as it seems that you have installed SM Pro to a different location as before.
The default location for SM Pro batches is the "C:\Program Files\Vendio\batches" folder. If the batches (which are files with a .awb extension) are not there, please use the Search functionality in Windows: Start > Search > For files or Folders... Enter "batches" as the file/folder to search for. Once the list of results is shown, please use the Open Batch functionality in SM Pro to navigate to those locations; one of them should hold your batches.
