Going a little nuts here, guys and gals. I've set my global prefs for international shipping with options/costs spelled out and checked. However, my buyers and I (when I go and do a trial for myself) continuously get 'error on page' message and it will not go beyond the address page. I've answered tons of emails from folks trying to checkout, but they can't. I believe I have it set up correctly, but maybe not. I've typed in foriegn country addresses to no avail. Frustrating since the new options came about this has been a continuous problem. I've also read some other posts to try and troubleshoot to no avail. I went to my active listings and chose an auction for 'editing WBN'. Lo and behold, it does not show any international shipping options, even though I have them all set in my global prefs. Thanks for quick help! John

The first thing to note is that Pro does not yet support the expanded online shipping options. For now, I would recommend continuing to use the 4 shipping fields in Pro, and uncheck the international shipping option online if you have that checked off. We are working on the new Pro version but it is a few weeks out.
As for the checkout problem, there was a bug that was fixed on 7/11. Have you had other complaints for items that launched after 7/11?

Diana,
Yes, I know that SM Pro is not set up for all shipping. I'm waiting with baited breath for it to show and be available.
Yes, I have had complaints beyond the date you state. I have the global prefs set online, yet they don't show in checkout as they continue to get 'error'. Also to note, in my listing while running it does not show any other shipping options other than my set US option of US Media Mail. Is this something else that will have to come with advances in SM Pro?

Sonya,
Here is one.......4748324273
I just had over sixty auctions end successfully last night. All launched after your date, and NONE OF THEM ARE OFFERING INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AT ALL!!!!! I've got overseas customers only being offered media mail shipping, nothing else! This is starting to honk me off. I've done everything to check and balance and it isn't working! My prefs are still set to offer international as default settings, yet nothing shows. I'm wasting a lot of time and pissing off a lot of customers to contact them and tell them of the 'real' shipping charges. Some think I'm scamming them. I used to be just fine before the 'upgrades' to shipping options. I had two custom shipping options made for my Canadian and International customers, and this worked super. HOWEVER, this option also doesn't work as when they fill out their address and show as an international, it goes to 'error' on page and they can't fill out anything!!!! I'm losing patience with Vendio right now.

I'm extremely sorry for the confusion. The problem was, that in your global preferences, you DID have the international shipping option checked off. If you are using Sales manager pro, you do NOT want to have the online international shipping option checked off. I logged into your account, turned off the setting. You should be able to list w/ pro now, use the custom fields like you always have and your customers WILL be able to checkout. Please leave the global shipping online settings how they are now. This will solve the checkout issues for future listings.
For closed listings that have an error, you will want to edit and resend the WBN. ONLY when EDITING the WBN for closed listings online will you use the international shipping option. Do not change it in your global preferences. You can edit a WBN after a listing has closed from Post Sale in Sales Manager. Locate your closed listing, and take the following steps:
1. Select the item by clicking the check-box next to it.
2. Click the "Edit WBN" button on the toolbar (note that step #1 must be unchecked in order to be able to edit the WBN.)
3. Make the necessary changes, and click the "Save" button on the bottom of the page.
4. Click "Return" to return to your Post Sale list.
To send the edited WBN, click the check-box next to the item then click the WBN button on the toolbar.
3. Edit the WBN options according to what you would like to change.
4. Remember to check the "Save" or "Send WBN Email" button at the bottom of the page.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Project: This is the workaround I am using with SMPro and International shipping.
First, I have international shipping in my global preferences ON.
Second, I use SMPro to create my batch and schedule all the ebay auctions for the NEXT day. That way they show up in Pending.
Launch from Pro
Go to Pending. Cancel all the launches. For some reason, cancelling the launches now enters your ONLINE Shipping preferences (all my international preferences).
Check off all the auctions and Resubmit.
Anyway until they fix it, that is what I do and it works.

Beth,
Thanks for your time and effort to respond. I'm going to give your workaround a shot on Monday. Yikes, this has been a pain.

Hey guys..
Wow, I feel like I'm tap dancing over fire here I KNOW this has been a HUGE problem for a lot of people. I just want to clear up a couple of things before we go changing settings.
You do NOT need to turn on the global preferences for online shipping to do what vintageads4u is doing. You can still edit the listing, from the online pending section and NOT turn on the global preferences option. I recommend NOT turning on that option in global preferences if you're using pro. That way if you launch directly from pro for some reason, it will not effect the listings.
However, she is correct. By doing it the way she is, she actually gets the use of our international shipping changes. Which includes Calculated international shipping and international buyers can't choose domestic (US) shipping rates.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

VENDIO YOU REALLY NEED TO GET GOING ON CHANGING THE SALES PRO VERSION - HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THIS ???
TO ALLOW FOR MORE SHIPPING OPTIONS - THIS IS GETTING A LITTLE RIDICULOUS !!!
WE NEED INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OPTIONS & UPS GROUND CALCULATED ASAP !!
