I just upgraded to a Mac computer. Just before I did, I wrote Vendio to ask if Sales Manager worked on Mac. A rep wrote back and said it did. However, when I downloaded the program, it wouldn't open. I looked on the Mac sight and it said .exe files are windows based and not for Mac. Is there a different download somewhere. I'm totally stuck. Thanks for helping.

Hi there,
We do not have a Mac compatible version of Sales Manager Pro available at this time, but you should be able to run the program on a Windows emulator, such as Virtual PC. We have tested SM Pro in this environment and have found that it works fairly reliably.

This is the exact letter I received. It seems like you and Chris are saying two different things since he didn't mention needing another program:
"Hello,
The SMIE version of the Sales Manager can be accessed with any computer
with an updated browser, Mac or PC. You can switch anytime without
losing anything you have done in your current version.

Hello,
Thats me!
The SMIE version of the Sales Manager is the Inventory Edition, an inventory specific way to manage your listings using this version of our online listing tools.
The Inventory Edition of the Sales Manager is not the offline Sales Manager Pro (SMPro.)
If you are interested in switching your version of the online Sales Manager to the Inventory Edition, it should work fine with your Mac OS.
You can make the switch via the My Account page, under the My Service Plans link.
Beside your current Sales Manager, use the 'change edition' link to switch to the Inventory Edition.
