I am considering adding this service...Is it also possible to change item descriptions using the Vendio Reviser? After closing, if the item is re-listed would all these changes remain intact?

Hello jewelplus,

You can revise descriptions using Vendio Reviser, but it must be done one at a time, and it can't be done automatically. And yes, any changes you make will apply to the listing when you relist it.

Thanks,

Diana

Thank you. I have another question now. If an item is on auto re-list or "good till cancelled", and I apply the folliwng auto revision rule:

- all items with duration of 1 day or less.
- reduce their starting price by 2% every 6 hours.

If the listing ends without a buyer and the item(s) gets re-listed, is it going to be re-listed with the original price when it was first listed, or with the closing reduced price? This is very important for me to know....Thank you

Hello jewelplus,

I misspoke in my post above. I was incorrect in saying that revisions made to the description would remain intact when an item closes. I do apologize for the misinformation - no revisions made when the listing is active will 'save' to the closed listing.

I guess this answers your second question as well - the listings will relist with the original price when they were first listed.

Let us know if you have any other questions about this.

Thanks,

Diana

Thanks...You are correct about the description, which is really "not good", if I make a revision on the description I need to keep that revision if the item automatically gets re-listed.

As far as changing the price, it seems that all items get automatically re-listed with the final "REDUCED" price when they close without a buyer, which is not desirable because now I have to go and revise all prices again. What I like the system to do is re-list with the original price again and not with the final reduced price.
