The international insurance rates I've been told at the post office only apply to Air Parcel Post shipments at this time and do NOT apply to Air Letter Post. Is there a way to offer insurance only when Air Parcel Post is selected?

Hello Ice,
Unfortunately there is no way to limit insurance options to a specific carrier at this time, but we will be happy to pass along a note on your behalf to look into adding this as an option for the future.

Air Letter Post items are uninsurable period. You can only buy or get insurance on Parcel Post and Express Mail. Letter Post and Global Priority has no insurance options whether you buy it or it is included.

Unless you buy non-USPS insurance. I print my postage with Endicia and use their insurance which comes from U-Pic. I can insure everything through them.
