I know that you have told me that the stuck in closing issue has to do with the API from Ebay, but I ONLY seem to have this problem when one customer buys multiple items from my store.
I rarely if ever have this problem with single purchases.
It is very frustrating to have a customer request a combined invoice when I can't get the items to post sale.
I've had this happen three times this week and have had to go to Paypal to send a combined invoice on one so that the customer could complete the sale in a timely manner.
I've done the refresh thing which was recommended, but the other night it took 2 1/2 hours before they finally finished closing.
Isn't there anything that can be done once they've reached Vendio and are in closing to speed up the process??
It all depends on where the issue is coming from. This past week there was a much higher than usual numer of issues (delays) with the eBay API, especially later in the afternoon.
eBay noticed this starting 7/13 and haven't marked it as resolved thus far. It didn't appear to be as bad over the weekend, although it did come close to becoming an issue again last night.
Just keep letting us know when you do run into these issues so we can continue to monitor the situation. When there is anything we can do on our side to assist in the matter, we certainly will do so.
You can also refer to the eBay API graph we keep online here to see if there are any obvious spikes that would cause delays in items closing properly.
