Recently I changed my Ebay Seller's Payment Instructions to reflect the new Postal rates. My Vendio account shows the changes I made, but auctions I created after I made the changes show the old information and old rates. This has not happended before when I made changes. What am I doing wrong?
Since Global Priority Mail is going from $5.25 to $11.00 this could cost me money. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Click to synch the Sales Manager Pro software before you go to create your next listing using the program.
Next, upload an auction scheduled to list at a future date, then go online and undo the launch so you can check the details.
As long as you synch, the SMPRO software should use the new text. This is assuming that your using the My Account page, eBay site specifics to setup your 'Payment Instructions & Return Policy.'

Hello Christopher:
I finally figured out what is happening.
I often recycle old auctions when I relist similar items to save time and effort. What I did not realize was that these old auctions keep the old shipping information even though I have subsequently made changes on my Vendio account. I did not notice before because the changes I made to shipping information were minor and I did not think to look. With global priority mail going from $5.25 to $11.00 that is not the case this time.
This information does not appear when aucions are being created and I thought it was updated when the auction was synchronized upon relisting. This is not so.
I do not know if this is a "glitch" that needs attention or just the nature of the beast. At any rate I am sure many of your customers also reuse old auctions and this needs to be looked at. I can work around it by recreating these auctions but am not looking forward to hours of repetitive grunt work to do so.
Shouldn' changes like this be part of the synchronization process?

Hello Doug,
Unfortunately, if you are relisting from a previous auction that had the old information, you will need to manually edit the listing before launching. The changes that you have made globally to your shipping option defaults will only automatically apply to future new listings. They will not be automatically applied to your active listings or relists of your closed listings.

Hello Nathan:
Thanks for letting me know.
Perhaps making changes like this part of the syncronization process should be considered as a way to improve your customer service. I am sure others would be pleased also.
