I have XP and have ised Vendio for a long time with no problems. Lately, when I am creating my auctions in SMP inventory, it happens that the program will close down. I log back into SMP and find the auction in my inventory, and unless I delete the listing I was working and create a new listing, it will happen over again. The only way I've found to fix it is to paste my description to my clipboard, delete the affected auction and start over again. Why is this happening?

My windows updates are current. I don't know... it seems like it might have something to do with my shipping choice?

Hello,
It is difficult to say what the problem is. . . try this first:
1. Go to the Windows control panel and click the ‘folder options’ menu. In the list of File Types, check both "htm" and "html" and be sure they are both assigned a default web browser. If not, click to ‘browse’ and assign Internet Explorer as the default application.
2. It is possible that the DHTML library files are no longer properly registered on your system. Please register them again:
- Go to the "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Triedit" folder.
- Register each of the DLL and OCX files in this directory:
+ Right click on it
+ Choose "Open with..."
+ Click "Choose program..."
+ Click "Other"
+ Find regsvr32.exe. It is in your "Windows\system32" folder
+ Click Open.
If that does not help, please uninstall the current version of SM Pro that is on your system and then reinstall it again.
You may use the Add/Remove Programs Wizard in Windows to uninstall the application. You do not need to worry about saving your batches and images as these will be retained, however, you may want to copy the batch and images folders to a separate location on your hard drive if it will make you more comfortable with this process.
Once you have uninstalled SM Pro, you will need to reinstall it. You may use the install kit that you used before if it is still on your system, otherwise, you will need to download the install kit again (please be sure to select "save to disk" when downloading.) Before you begin the install process, please be sure to close any open applications you might have installed on your system.
If you are still experiencing problems after uninstalling/reinstalling the application, please let us know.
