I am ready to get a new computer and will need to move all my programs to vista.Is vendio ready for me to be able to continue to use it with Vista? I had checked a few months ago and noticed there was a round about way to get vendio to accept it in vista.Can you give me a step by step to do what I will need to do?

Hello Jackie,
Unfortunately Vista users have had varied success in running the SMPRO software on their operating systems thus far. Some have no trouble at all, others have to try a number of workarounds to get it to work and others still are unable to run it with Vista at all.
If you have yet to purchase your new computer, I would seriously suggest getting a new machine with XP PRO installed (which you can still get these days, as many people are avoiding the 'upgrade' to Vista.)

Wow! that's a bummer.I really don't think it wise to stay with a new computer with XP like I have now, since it soon will be no longer added to any computers in a few months.I guess I will give it a try when I get the new computer and see what happens. Lets hope I can get it to work or I guess I will have to find another program to work with since I don't like Ebays listing page.

Hi there,
If SM Pro doesn't work with your Vista implementation (it seems to be very hit or miss, depending on how the program is intially installed - make sure to install it as admin under the correct user directory) we may have an alternative that would work for you available in about 30 days. Please let us know how you do.

I keep checking here to see if there is a new way to try and get it to work with windows vista, as nothing I have tried will make it work on my new computer.

I am ready to try and see if SMpro will work on my new vista computer.Where do i go to get the program amd download it? Do I have to start all over since I can get to this site and sign in but my compuer does not have the download yet.

Well, I just downloaded smpro to my new computer with vista and so far everything looks fine.Got signed back on and all my pictures still there.I haven't listed anthing yet but intend to put something on this week to make sure everything is working well.
So no problems so far with using Vista.
