Hi, I have a question, I hope I can explain it right. I have used the desktop SMPro for years. My computer crashed and would not load. We were finally able to get it started again but we had to reload windows in a new folder, c:windows2 or something like that. I didn't lose all my other info, my documents, pictures or SMPro but I have to access it by going into "my computer" and into my hard drive. I am running on the newly loaded windows and my old info doesn't show unless I go to the hard drive. I hope you are following me, hard to explain. My question is, can I pull SMPro, copy and paste it to my desktop or do I need to download it again? Oh, I am running window XP Pro. Thanks, Cathy

Well I was able to copy the program files and paste to the desktop. It installed just fine. I had to update to the 7. version and then sync. It loaded all my pictures into SMPro but not the items. Is there anyway to import my SMIE items into SMPro? I like to keep all my items in SMPro for faster revising and listing. Thanks
Unfortunately, it is not possible to download your online inventory to the Sales Manager Pro software. It is only possible to send your listings from SM Pro to your online account (and not the other way around).
If you are trying to recover your inventory and/or batch files that existed in SM Pro before your computer problem, you may be able to recover them. The files would have been located in the below locations of the original SM Pro installation. If you can find the files from the old installation, you should be able to copy them into the corresponding folders of the new installation:
- From the data folder copy the inv.dat file, which contains inventory information.
- From the batches folder copy all batch files (*.awb)
I hope this helps. Please let us know if you need further assistance.
