Ok so I am trying to put some listing into SMP to upload but it keeps shutting down on me. I start it up open the batch I am working on and then it pops up with a "Sales Manager Pro has stopped working" message. And it is totally random, sometimes it shuts down right away and other times I get one or two listings done before it shuts down. What the hell is going on? I've uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and still the same thing happens. Any ideas?
This happens when trying to run the program in more recent versions of Windows as it was last optimized for XP.
Try right clicking the link for Sales Manager Pro on your desktop and going to the properties menu. From here go to the Compatibility tab and set the program to run in Windows 98 mode.
With every Windows 7 update the behavior seems to change, but 98 mode has worked well in the recent releases.

Are there any plans on making the program more compatible with Windows 7? Or is this going to be an ongoing problem?
There are no current plans to upgrade the sales manager pro software going forward, though we have had success in running it in compatibility mode for Windows 98 recently.
Over time it's more likely that we will phase out of the offline program as changes in the marketplace make listing online the only way to offer some features.

Obviously it's been awhile since I've done any checking/research and out of date. (Oops!) Is there another program or practice I should be using? Either now or to prepare for future changes?
The other way to list would be through the online version of our services. This can be done by going to vendio.com to log in to your account. Then go to "Sales Manager" in the left-hand menu and click the eBay icon below "Create Listing" in order to get the online listing form.

Thanks Nathan and Chris! I'll probably be checking that out since the trick of changing to Windows 98 mode makes the program crash even more.
