I just checked my Paypal account and found a Debit Card charge that was denied (thank goodness).
The money was being taken by "unknown merchant" and was for $4.46 cents.

I did use the card once today but that transaction shows up as well. What is this charge and does this mean someone tried to steal $4.46 from me? Did I make a mistake somewhere? What is going on?

Upon signing into Paypal this morning I got a MS warning the security certificate is invalid.

A possible security compromise at Paypal?

Please report that to the customer service center (or send me the information).

Hi bennybbb,

The security certificate has to do with using an outdated version of your browser. Upgrade the browser and it will go away.
