Under the Terms and Conditions for PayPal "Shops" in the "Information" section it states:
"License to Use Your Information. By providing Website registration information to PayPal, you grant PayPal a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to copy, publish and display the information on the PayPal website or in e-mail messages related to your PayPal transactions. This license will terminate upon closing or termination of your PayPal account"
Exactly what information does this cover? I can understand the right to advertise the fact that we use your service and provide a link to show how nice our site looks, but there is a whole lot of other information that I would never consider allowing any company to distribute.
I tried to find clarification on the website but found nothing.
