I received a notice from AW that I had sold an item out of my storefront. I comprized a letter sent it out and today I get this response.

Hello,
I have to apologize , ,I was working with the storefronts and didnt relize it was a an automatic sale , I was just going through the motions and dont intend to buy it.

Sincerely,

I know I will forget about it but it makes me upset that someone can go through the motions and not realize that it is automatic. Do they think I am there in person. I have never tried to buy out of one but I am sure that somewhere in the transaction it says something like hit the button and that completes the transaction. Now my listing is gone and I received nothing for it except a sentence thats says "I appologize" Not even an I am sorry. Don't you just hate stupid people.

Hi Libra63,

I am sorry that this has happened to you. What you can do in the future is post your own disclaimer onto your storefront and say something along the lines of "all purchases are final" to get the word accross that if you buy it, you pay for it. Hopefully this can prevent any future incidences such as this one.

The same thing keeps happening to me and then the buyer somehow managed to send a fraudulent receipt from paypal saying that these items were paid for and I even shipped the items....2 of them....lost over $300.00!!! I would suggest that AW has a department that takes care of this kind of problem and these kind of people. AW was written by me and they won't help me at all. I am getting ready to go to another auction house as this is not right. Ebay even helps people that have gotten conned. Maybe even was an inside job cuz I don't know still how they generated the receipt.

Lacurry-I fell bad about that and how frustrated you must be at this point. I guess if this was me I would persue it some more. My storefront sale was only $4.00 and then I relisted it on ebay and sold it. I am sure there is someone on this board that will give you some good advice at least I hope there is. Did you report this to ebay? PayPal? You do know where the buyer lives so why not try something in that state.
Good Luck in what ever you do.

Were thinking of adding this line to our terms and policy link.
Non paying bidder policy -No Negative Feedback- We have an open account with Madame LeRue's Readings and Tarot shop in New Orleans La. We notify them once your payment is received - It should stop about 1 hour after we notify them. If you wait till Friday your stuck with it till Monday morning.
Its always best to pay on time.

What do you think ?
