Is there anyway in the new storefront stuff you are setting up to allow some variable data?
What I mean by this is that when they go to checkout the total amount can be passed to a web link that I setup as part of my checkout options.
This would allow variables such as the total to be passed to a link that could send them to a credit card handler, paypal, billpoint links.
I prefer to use costco's creditcard service since it is so simple and cost effective. It comes with a buy button (or link) that allows a dollar amount as input and sends the customer to a secure page to take the card info.

Please tell me that there will be some openness to your new fetures and not stick people with the same old services. (I mean that in regards to the more common payment services such as paypal, billpoint, etc.

Easy creditcard handling I feel would realy boost your store fronts use but limiting people to a single vendor would be a shame.
Feel free to email me if you want more details on ideas...
Thanks for the great services and I look forward to the new ones...

Hi Evadsales,

You should be able to use your own direct offline credit card processing. If you check Global Preferences, you will see there already is an option for that. There's a text box where you can place directions for your buyers on what directions to follow for credit card purchase.

I was refering to making it more automated.
A basic email is fine but it adds more details that need to be added for the dollar amount (in case the purchaser forgets or mistypes) and shipping.

What I was proposing was adding some automation to it.
Such as how the WBN work.
%buyer% puts in the buyer name
%price% would put in the price of the items
%auction_num% put in the auction number
etc.
etc.
This way when they click on the final checkout stage they could be presented with a web link that goes to my online store or shopping cart system and the fields are prefilled for them.
If I could at least get the auction number added to the link they click on then I could put the information for the checkout on my shopping cart side of things.

Basicly any automation such as above would be a very powerful tool and if used right could make the process very seemless for the purchaser and seller.
