Help! Other than Google Adwords that is offered as a link by AuctionWatch, what are some of the ways I can get people to my storefront? I've been reading the messages in here and one person said use "other details" for keyword searches, but I do not understand what that means. I am compliant with Ebay rules for the AW Gallery logo, but how does the rest of it work? HELP!

Thanks,
Erica

Hi Kne89,

Your storefront should show up in any search performed. What is the message you are referring to?

If you go to the "AW store vs. Ebay Store" from 2/2/02 it is stated in the comment that is second from the bottom. And how can my store show up in every search? I don't have any keywords set up that I know of.

Thanks!

Hi kne89,

Storefronts are searched by the Storefront description that you create by going to the Storefront tab, Edit Storefront, Storefront text.

Kne89,

My name is Melody I market my storefront in the following ways:

I have for 2 years had the button checked in my auctions that saves my customers email addy. I have almost 800 contacts that are proven customers now.

AW allows me to email them every 2 weeks with updates or specials.

Once a month I run free frt on $25 orders or free bloomers with dress purchases while supplies last. I also will put 20 items up a buck over cost and run super specials. I email my customers and the first 48hrs after doing this I have a huge rush to my store. They buy the $25 worth or sometimes they don't. But I always get alot of orders after my friendly newsletters. I always include a link to the storefront in my newsletters. This makes me a click away...

The other thing I do is have my storefront link as my signature for my emails. That way every Email I send has a link to my store. I have a tag to see the new homemade doll dresses at then I add my storelink.

Even when I forward jokes that go all over the country I make sure my link is attached.

I have bought a web page. I have not done anything to that page except have it forwarded to my AW storefront! for $35 a year I'm in most engine searches thanks to my nephews "meta"? tags or something like that.

I think these tips may help your store grow. I know that I am able to make a go of it using these tips...

estae,

the easiest way is to download a program from online, you pay like 15.00 for
it, and then you put your information into it, keywords, things like that,
and it submits forms to all the different websearch engines for you. so you
only have to input the information one time instead of going to each search
engine and filling out a form..

This is what he sent me after I enquired about him doing it for you.

I have sent another email asking him to send me the link to the place for 15.00. He's in Calif I'm in Texas. so we have time differances.

As soon as he sends it I will post here.

Hope this helps.
