I was just wondering about the same thing ~ unknown !!
I have many vintage dresses in my store front right now and all are unknown !!
Isn't there a way for you to change this problem?? Pleaseeeeeeeeee !
I love the store front and think that if you could just change and add catagories, they have the potential for doing some great business but right now, mine is not !
I am thinking the buyers look at it and think .... forget this ... way too much trouble finding stuff !!

I completely AGREE! I have been using a trial version of another "storefront" and they really have a great way of categorizing everything!
I would like to stay with AW because I'm used to it and I feel "comfortable" with it; however, my buyers have got to be able to navigate through my 600 items. I cannot even image how those seller who have more than I do get along.
If AW could replace the "Featured Items" on the initial page with the simplified categories (chosen by the seller), that would make things a whole lot easier!!
Also, this other "storefront" I've been considering gives you the option to put choices within each listing. This is great for me because I sell bedding and most of my products come in several sizes. I currently have to create a new listing for each and every size (which only clutters my storefront)...I wish AW could give us some ways to offer different sizes/colors/etc.
Let me know if anyone has suggestions of how I could better use AW to my advantage, because I'm seriously considering leaving...

The problem that I have is that the category shown is the bottom of the category cascade or nest or whatever you want to call it. I personally would prefer that categories to start at the top level, then users could navigate down through the category. The way it is, it makes absolutely no sense. I have books on mine and there is no 'books' category, just the bottom of the ladder that breaks everything up.
I hope someone takes a serious look at this because it is really beginning to bother me and I am sure shoppers scratch their heads when trying to make head or tails out of this system.
