I have two questions:

I had to take down an eBay auction and relist it due to an error in the picture -- now I have two listings in my storefront for the same thing, one of which is a closed auction. How can I delete the closed auction from my store front?

The second question is this: For the "Contact Us" section, I listed my name, address, phone number, etc. However, my name doesn't show up, only my eBay id on that line. What am I doing wrong??

Thanks,
Jo Anne

Hi Jo Anne,

Did you delete the eBay auction from your AW control panel? What you will need to do, is track it back in even if it is closed. This should trigger it to remove itself from your storefront.

Regarding getting your name to show up -- you need to modify the name of your storefront to say your name, because the first line of the mailing address is going to be the title of your storefront.

Sonya: Thanks for your reply, I appreciate your help! I changed the name of my storefront as you suggested, and that solved one of my problems.

As for the closed auction still showing up in my storefront, yes, I deleted it from my "Active" auctions 2 days ago when I cancelled the auction, yet both the active and closed auctions are still showing up in my storefront. I thought maybe the store front would "catch up" in a few hours, but it didn't. Will it stay there until the original close date of the now-closed auction?

Thanks again,
Jo Anne

Hi Jo Anne,

If you import the closed auction back to your account that should trigger the storefront to read it as closed and it will disappear accordingly. It generally takes a couple hours for the storefront to update -- the auction must move from active to closed.

Sonia:

I imported the closed auction and it went into my Archive file. I'll wait a couple of hours and check my storefront again. I guess I shouldn't have deleted it from my Active auctions, just Archived it instead.

Thanks again -- I just switched from Mr. Lister to AuctionWatch, so am still learning, slow but sure!

Sonya: It worked! My closed auction is
O-U-T of my Storefront!

Thanks!
