Is there a way to temporarily make my storefront inactive? If this feature does not exsist it might be one to consider - perhaps with a sign that comes up saying store temporarily closed until....
I don't know what to do if I have to be away for any length of time - my customers won't be getting serviced.
Putting a notice in the home page doesn't neccessarily work - they don't read it!
You can turn your storefront off in your My Account tab, in the Store link. Simply deselect the storefront on button. When you want to reactivate it you just go back and recheck it.
