It's not practical to pay the AW fee for me for the store front. Can I close/cancel my store? I like the service, but not at 4.95 a month. thanks!

Hi Raggedytimegals,
The stores are free right now -- the fee will not happen until later. If you want to close your store, go to the Stores tab and check the button next to "Closed for renovation". Then click the Save Changes button.

Perhaps Auction Watch should have a fee per for each completed sale instead of a monthly fee. I believe AW customers would prefer a fee per item instead of a monthly fee.

hello sonya,I also wish to close my store front,I did as you had said and clicked closed for renavation, but my store front is still showing.does this mean you will still charge me a fee when you impose it?thank you.
The store is still visible to you however it is not visible to anyone else. If you log out of your account and try to go to your store, you will see that it does not come up.

I agree, I feel that the store only bring's me in a minmal amount of customer's so I'm closing my store also. I have a web site already and cannot afford 2 fee's. I'm just wondering now when I list an auction on Ebay will it automatically be listed in my store front unless I close it permanently?

The icon inserted in my auctions and the storefront itself, I feel, was more benefit to AW than to myself.
I think that other sellers saw the icon and checked out AW as result or even joined AW and set up their own store, began listing auctions with AW, and began paying fees.
My icon and store served mainly as a referral for AW. I think AW was the real winner with the FREE storefront.
I think AW should push FREE storefronts for people who don't sell very much (like my store... now closed). Fee based store seems to be more appropriate, because MANY of us don't mind paying percentages of our sales than flat fees for a store with low sales.
