Hi guys and gals. I'm trying to organize and figure out my customer lists and have several questions:
1) I did a test sign up from my store and it went into UNFILED - how do I set it up to go to STORE MAILING LIST? Are these the only addresses that will automatically go to UNFILED or will others (ie:auctions) go there too. I have set MAILING LIST as my preference for auctions.
2) I tired to delete some names. Picked delete from pull down menu and then checked off boxes of names to delete and then hit GO and nothing - tried several times refreshing etc and still all there. What am I doing wrong.
3)Finally, why can't we see the date when someone signs up? We see it for others.
4)I tried using the email tool last week and it did nothing for me - probably user error, but could you please check it.

Hi planejane,

I will log a suggestion with Product Development to specify what folder you want your customers to go into when they sign up from your store.

The delete button works -- try using another browser if you can. When you hit Go, does the page appear to refresh or does nothing happen at all?

Unfortunately, only the date and time is recorded for winning bidders. It does not record for people who sign up from your store so it may be best to check your customer list frequently to keep track of new subscribers.

When you are sending an email to your list you need to make sure that you have accepted the user agreement, if you do not do that, it will appear to do nothing at all. Did you check off that box?

Hi Sonya, I tried deleting again, but to no avail. It does ask me to "send" that command, and appears to refresh, but when all is said and done it's still there.
I also did another test and entered an address in my email list from a close up photo at auction - these names appear to go to "mailing list" and have the date posted with them. As the entries from this area and the entries from email list in store are essentially the same thing, shouldn't they be going to the same place? Also, if an entry date is made for these entires, why can't the same be done for store entries.
I don't remember checking off a user agreement box in this area, I'm going to go back and look when I have time.

Hello,

I am not having trouble with the delete email function. If you can try using a different browser. We have escalated the email sign up issue to engineering, as they are indeed supposed to go to the store mailing list folder.
