I would like to address the problem of seperate shipping charges being applied to the same customer making multiple purchases.
I just had the same customer buy 5 items and be charged the shipping 5 times. I was lucky enough to catch this right away and email the correct total but am afraid that seeing a 10.00 shipping charge for 30.00 worth of items will scare away customers. Not all customers are savy enough to wait to be contacted and paypal right away even if the total is incorrect. This creates a whole new set of problems.
Also when we pay a FVF is it before shipping charges are applied? If not the additional shipping fees would make the FVF incorrect. Please let me know if there is a way for seperate shipping fees not to show up when a customer purchases multiple items.

Hello beadkat,
If you want to apply a discount on shipping charges for customers that are buying more than one item, you need to set this up in your preferences. Go to My Account -> Global Preferences, and you will see the shipping discounts section about 1/3 of the way down the page.
As for the final value fee, this will be calculated based on the sale price, not the sale price plus shipping.
