Ask and you shall receive! We have made a much-requested improvement to the Store categories list, which now appears in alphabetical rather than chronological order.

Once again, please check into categories for auctions. It seems to be a related step, as I can assign categories to the auctions at my inventory page, however, it is not carried over into auction.
I am aware of the present situation with its shortfall. Today, I have 15 auctions listed with eBay. Fortuantely, they are all in the same category. However, if the auctions were for multiple categories and with multiple auction sites, it would be impossible for a potential customer to find an item without a search. This amounts to much clutter and unnecessary work. Now, if the product categories were extend to auctions, the customer could go to the category and view store items and auction items at the same time.
Strange, eBay has that capability available in its stores.

Let's go one step further. My store currently lists 37 auctions on eBay and 16 items at the store front. The auction gallery box indicates that there are 37 eBay auctions (no categories), while the product categories box indicates that there are 16 items listed (categorized store front items). Also within the product categories box is a line which indicates that the total items are 16. However when total items are selected, all 53 are displayed.
At this time, auctions that you have in auction galleries on your store cannot be categorized with your store Buy Now items. I will pass your suggestion along to product development to categorize auctions along with the store purchases.
