I think many of us are waiting to see some feedback on Stores since the fees were added. I'm probably in the wrong pew, but is anyone having any luck selling in their store or do you know where there might be some feedback? It sounds like a great alternative to auctions for those who are not quite so driven. Thanks!

Stores on AW are just like any other site on the web. If you are in the belief that if you build it they will come you have missed the point entirely. Like any other endeavor stores require to be continually nurtured in order to succeed. AW cannot do this for you. They offer a tool which you can use. What you accomplish with it is up to you entirely.

I have had my store for some time and link it to all my ebay ads. I offer free shipping if the customer combines an ebay purchase with a storefront purchase (I sell paper/postcards/ads...not heavy stuff) and that drives them into the store where they almost always buy something else. I also am using the Google Ad words through the end of hte year. I just got a $70 order through Google so that paid for itself pretty well. Anyway, I think the store is economical and the support is good. I am not ready to go out on my own. But I have bought my domain name and might do it someday. Good luck.
AND, dave is right. It does take some work.
