My store does not come up in any Google Search using the key words that I put in long ago. I thought AW was listing our pages with Google (this is separately from any AdWord Search that you buy from Google). Is anyone else showing up in just a normal search of Google for your stores product?

Hello,
What terms are you trying the search with? Google is a rather large search engine, if your search is too broad you might not find your items right away -- they could be on a later page of the search.

I am using a key word search: "Vintage Advertisements" and then searching within that for the store name. Nothing. Also could try "vintage ads" or "old ads"...still nothing. Could try to narrow the search using the search withing using specific keywords in the storefront and still nothing.

Hello,
Google is a rather large search engine. The benefit of AdWords is that it allows your store to come up on the first search page, separate from the regular results. Since none of your search tags seem to be coming up you may want to contact Google to see if they can assist with inserting your store into the search.

Sonya: Since you advertise that you place the stores in major search engines and that is one of the things we pay for...why don't you do it?
NOTE: FROM YOUR SITE
AuctionWatch helps increase sales!
Simply placing your products or store online does not get them in front of buyers. Finding a single store on the Web can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Sellers must get their brand and products presented where buyers are already congregating. In addition, they must develop lasting relationships with their customers and encourage repeat business. AuctionWatch services provide:
Product placement in front of millions of buyers on the Internet's leading markets: eBay, Yahoo!, Amazon, and AuctionWatch stores, as well as placement in major Internet Search engines like Google.
If you are concerned about the placement of your store based on the meta tags you have chosen in the store wizard, you should contact Google or consider changing up some of your key words. Or, you can subscribe to Google Ad Words -- please visit the following URL if you would like to learn more:

Sonya...you are avoiding the issue Sonya. We pay for you to do that. Don't we? Check my last post. You advertise that you do it. So, why don't you? Maybe a refund is in order since you want me to do it. Should I get paid then instead of you?

Hello baylor45,
AuctionWatch provides you with a single URL which can easily be sumbitted to search engines through programs like Google Adwords, but we do not submit your Store URL to search engines for you. I am sorry for any misunderstanding.
The best way to ensure that your Store comes up in a search is to use meta tags and a thorough Store description, which can be entered on our site, and submit your URL to the search engine(s) of your choice. Here is a link that will help you with this:

See that you pulled my other post.
As to AW statement (:AuctionWatch services provide:
Product placement in front of millions of buyers on the Internet's leading markets: eBay, Yahoo!, Amazon, and AuctionWatch stores, as well as placement in major Internet Search engines like Google)
It is more than a misunderstanding. It is somewhat deceptive. I would reword that Benefits section if you have not already done it.

Good topic. And, so far the answer has eluded the AW people. I have two stores. One at eBay and one here at AW. Both stores are in my name: William J. Kozersky. When I enter "kozersky" into Google for a search, my eBay store ranks at the top. Unfortunately (for me), my AW store does not appear at all. Now, I would think that my AW store would also be found if the AW claims are correct.

Thanks for the post koz. I went to the site that AW provided to register my store myself...there is a six month wait. Great. Had I known six months ago that AW was not going to register our sites then, well, never mind.
