I would like to offer a free item with all store orders. The item doesn't really have to show up in checkout (though it would be great if it did.) I just need to somehow let customers know on the first page of my store that it will be included when their order is shipped. What would be the best way to do this?

Hi mycoolstuff,
The best way might be to just put a brief description of the item and a link to the thumbnail image in the Store welcome message. I will check on this to see if there is a better way, though, and will get back to you as soon as possible.
