Strictly adding items to my storefront (no auctions):
If I have 3 items of the same type (same SKU #) and I want all 3 items to be available for purchase in the store on the same line entry, can I just have inventory showing a Quantity In Store of 3 ? With the other two columns showing 0 ?
When I create the store listing and I enter the Quantity Available of 3, then I go down and increment the Quantity in Store to 3, the Quantity Available only decreases by 2 - this shows Quantity Available = 1, Quantity In Store = 3, and Quantity At Auction = 0.
Makes it appear to me that my overall quantity for the item is 4 instead of 3.
I have to go back up, change the Quantity Available from 1 to 0 so it is only showing 3 total across the board (In Store).
Obviously I'm just not grasping how the whole quantity skew is working in the Storefront.
I appreciate your assistance on this.

Hi Greg,
If you have it say quantity available of 3 then only 3 can be purchased from the store. Those 3 should be subtracted from the Quantity Available total. If you are having trouble with something let me know what the item is so I can take a look at it.

Hi Sonya,
Thanks for the clarification. It seems to be working just as you explained. Now when I have Quantity Available of 3 and then place those 3 in the Store, the Quantity Available now drops accordingly.
All I can think is I am reworking some unsold auction items and my original misunderstanding of how the inventory quantities worked affected everything.
Works better now that I'm working with it instead of against it.
Thanks,
Greg Williams
