I would like to speed my image viewing for my customers and would like to convert my JPEG images to GIF images that are Web-ready with Web-Safe colors.
When I try importing the GIF images into SMPro it returns the following error:
------------------------
INVALID FILE TYPE
You have attempted to import a file in a graphic format which Sales Manager Pro and AuctionWatch do not support.
Graphic files must be in one of the following formats: .JPG, .JPEG, and .PNG. The current file is 00FreeShip.gif.
------------------------
I tried the Fireworks .PNG format but that exploded the file size to twice what the .JPG size is. That's not a good choice.
Are there any plans for SMPro and AW to accept the most widely recognized graphic Web format of GIF ?
If not, how can I upload my GIF images to support my Store?
Thanks,
Greg Williams

Hi Greg,
I responded in the other thread, but I will respond here as well. SMPro unfortunately does not support gif images. You can upload them online, however you would have to work with them online -- synchronizing pro will show only jpeg images in your image bar.
I am not sure if future versions of Pro will support gif images but I will look into it.
