Does anyone have any experience with buying adwords with froogle? I am considering it, and I need advice. Like, does it seem to make any difference if you are at the number one spot or the number 3 spot? And is there any way to tell if a store purchase came from a froogle click.

My advice is you shouldnt use adwords unless you have a credit card/Merchant account.Once customers learn that you cant process credit card orders they imidiately go the other direction. What you should do is get you're storefront listed in as many directories and indexes as possible.Here are a few good ones..
Here is the MOST IMPORTANT one if you want good ranking with Google once you're storefront is listed in the search engine...

Or you could pay 299.99 to get listed in Yahoo directory.Although paying 299.99 doesnt gaurantee you will be listed.It just means that they will review it.

The majority of customers that buy from websites prefer to pay with a credit card and not with Paypal.Now,if you sell on Ebay they would rather pay with Paypal. Ive had a merchant account for a month now and I am listed in the search engines along with our Yahoo! store.Out of all the customers weve had, only 1 or 2 have used Paypal.They payed with Paypal so that they could pay with an Echeck.
