OK - I have my store basically set up and stocked - still a few more things to add. My question is how do I get people to my store. I have an ebay store that I would like to phase out - but I still am getting way more hits in those items then my AW store. I have the link in my auctions - although it is at the bottom of the listing - don't think many people notice it. What have you guys done and what is legal on ebay. I think the AW store is great - but if I can't get anybody to see it - it really isn't worth much.

1.Get a domain name
2.Get a merchant account
3.Advertise
4.Get listed in directorys, indexes, internet malls etc
5.Use Google adwords
6.Display a link in you're auctions
7.Make sure you're storefront is loaded with keywords.Especially you're TAG TITLE and TAGLINE/MOTTO.
8.Submit you're url to search engines
9.Be patient. It could take up to 3 months to get listed.Repeat instructions 1-6 untill then.
Note: You're storefront is automatically submited to Froogle every night.

Thanks bigcitycollectibles!
It's great seeing the list that you have posted!
While I'm still waiting to get "hits", or visitors of any kind <g>, I can add the following from experience:
On feeBay (love that), if you enter the words website, web site, or any mention or link to what eBay considers a "third party" link to a site that will take the user away from eBay, you will be admonished thoroughly and have your auction(s) canceled.
HOWEVER, eBay DOES allow you to place links and information to your website on your eBay About Me page. No problem there (unless eBay has changed it in the last month). So far I have "huge" link referrals to my domain, www.retrobargains.com, which is automatically forwarded to my AW shop. As far as the customer knows that is my "easy-to-remember" link. Much easier than the http://shop.auctionwatch.com/retrobargains - nothing wrong with that but which is easier to remember? <g>
I also have the largest AW Referral Banner available on my About Me page.
Now... tomorrow that may be a different story because someone will probably play "feeBay police" and report my About Me page as against eBay policy - but they will do that ONLY if they are too ignorant to read eBay's current policies regarding what is allowed on the About Me page and how it differs from what is allowed on feeBay auctions.
Now... guess I need to work on my merchant account just to bring everything in line before getting Google AdWords.
Just my two cents (all I can afford until sales pick up!)
