What's the easiest way for me to view the Payment Choice my customer has made in my Store? (yeah! I have had a sale or two!)

All I can figure out is going in under Post Sale and Editing the Checkout just to look. Is there a more visible (and user friendly) way?

I can't seem to locate the View Checkout in Post Sale like I'm used to doing with Auctions. Why is Key #2 marked N/A for Checkout? Aren't the customers "checking out" when they confirm their order?

I'm confused on this one.

Thanks for your help.

Greg

Don't know of any other way but to click that Edit Checkout button. Congrats on the sale. I noticed you are really getting the inventory in. Good job and good luck! Thanks for the other tip!

Thanks Baylor! And you're welcome!

Well... hmmm... no answer yet. Must have hit another nerve.

Maybe it will be (f)logged also! LOL

Hi Greg,

You can view the payment choice your customer has selected in the Awaiting Payment section of Post Sale. It has its own column, and store items are included.

Steps 1 and 2 are WBN related steps for auctions -- 2 is shaded grey and marked n/a because you aren't sending the checkout to someone, they are already going through it when they are purchasing from your store.

Sonya

Thanks Sonya,

Just seems to handle funny - since in a Post Sale sense, they have completed checkout direct from the store.

Seems it should be "easier" to view the checkout with one easy click - from the detailed Post Sale screen.

I'll adjust and hunt for them under Awaiting Payments. The hard way.

Thanks,
Greg

Hello Greg,

I get an e-mail notice whenever a puchase is made at my store. The e-mail includes payment method, about half way down the page.

Hi Chris,
Thanks, yeah I noticed that too on the email, but hey - I read 'em and toss 'em and look for the info I need in the Post Sale. <g>

Here's a new twist - bear in mind these are all strictly Store sales - no auctions:

I had a multiple item purchase from a customer in the store - a nationally-known motel chain - and the customer purchased four items which combined in the cart to create an Order # of course. NOW - in Post Sale right there in plain sight is the View Checkout button! - I viewed it and QUICKLY saw the Payment Choice that was made.

That's great! But... the Feedback keys were no-longer shaded out either - they were active. (I know why, because it COULD have been a multiple auction/storefront items checkout - but it wasn't - it was strictly Storefront items.

Just some little bugs that still need worked out in the programming department.

The best part is now I know what the problems are and I can work with it - shouldn't have to, but I can.
