In SEARCH STORES > BROWSE CATEGORIES - I spent some time looking around in the ADVERTISING Category and was not able to locate ANY of my 1300 plus vintage ad items.
My question: Should I align my Categories with the BROWSE CATEGORIES listing? i.e., for best returns have my categories matching what you have?
I hope not because that would be very restrictive - but it would be better then no returns as it is currently.
I'm really trying to understand just how the BROWSE and SEARCH works so that my items are more visible as well. I do understand the returns at the top are random, and the other returns at bottom are from how many items are in your store, but come on... there should be SOMETHING there now!
Let me know how the Search Stores, Browse Categories works in a nutshell and how I can best align my categories with that function.
Thanks,
Greg

We are going to be making some changes to the Store Search functionality that may help this in the short term. Long term, there will be more improvements coming.

Hello Greg,
I would not recommend spending time doing this, as search categories will be removed from search functionality shortly as an interim solution to irrelevant results being returned for a category search.
