Is this the "quiet before the storm"?

Vendio: Seems that you aren't addressing issues in the Store Manager thread as fervently as usual. Is there a reason such as maybe (hopefully) we are on the brink of a long-awaited improvement and update to the Vendio Stores as was "promised" months ago?

What is the latest info on the Store improvements? We'd love to know how things are progressing.

In particular, in the enhanced stores will we still be able to list items endlessly and stock our stores to the extreme? Some of us have 1600 or 6000 or more items and to put it bluntly, we would be forced to close our store if there was a "per item" fee assessed. Please set our mind at ease and tell us this will not be happening... or if it is, please let us know now so that we can take a closer look at our inventory.

Thanks for addressing these concerns now instead of forwarding to product development as these are our immediate concerns regarding our continued presence here at Vendio.

Best Regards and I await your swift reply,

Greg

Hi Greg,

We address issues as they are brought up in the forums. The most active one as I'm sure you can tell is the Sales Manager forum, sometimes people post their store issues there. Additionally, we receive email from customers who have store questions so not everything gets posted in the Store forum.

The latest store related feature is the announcement of upcoming support for eBay Stores. Any further announcements regarding stores and other products get posted in the Announcements forums, or in other service forums.

There is no plan to take away the current functionality of stores. There are three different stores plans -- not all of them contain a per item list fee though, since in cases like the one you describe that can get to be rather pricey so there are plans available that only assess a final value fee.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Regards,

Sonya

Thanks Sonya, I'll have to revisit the store pricing plans and see what they all are. I didn't realize there were some plans that do charge a per item fee. I'm on the Standard Plan and there's no per item fee, but I'll still look and make sure I'm on the best one for me!

I understand where Announcements are announced. And I have read the forthcoming eBay Store support announcement. My question was about Vendio Store improvements. Earlier this year AuctionWatch/Vendio "announced" wonderful improvements were being developed to enhance the existing store functionality. Is this still in the works or has it been abandoned? Some of those "enhancements" that were to be looked at included the currently restrictive Search Field box which we are all eager to see improved.

We just need to know something about improving the stores.

Have a great day!

Greg

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the clarification -- those are still in the works but I don't have any time frame avaialble for them. It has not been abandoned.

If you are thinking of changing your store plan and you want us to help you out, we would be happy to -- email us at [email protected] and let us know how many store items you list, what your sell through rate is, and the approximate price of your items.

Regards,

Sonya
