On my post-sale letters, I pumped joining my mailing list by giving a $5.00 coupon off $30+ sale. A LOT of response.
Obviously, I can get the customer their $5.00 at some point, but people like to see their discount at the time of purchase.
I can't figure a way to do it on the Vendio site unless I could give one item a negative $5.00 value. Would your software a accept a negative price on an item?
One thing you can do is add an additional shipping option and call it "Coupon Holders ONLY" and make that $5.00 less than your real shipping. If someone is a coupon holder they can pick that option. I realize that this does not prevent others from picking that option if they see it and don't read that it's for coupon holders only -- I am logging a suggestion on your behalf for the ability to apply discounts to store purchases.
Inventory does not allow you to enter a negative value. If a coupon holder purchases something from you, you can always apply a credit in post sale of $5.00 for that item and have that buyer pay you the amount less $5.00.

That's a good suggestion, Sonya. Except there are only four shipping options. I'm two short as it is because of international shipping.
Also, some sellers (including me) give shipping breaks for Buy It Now so four shipping options just doesn't cut it.
Rather than four, I'd rather see just one that the customer could control. I realize that could be a nightmare but no worse than it is now.
I know the customer can control to a certain degree but if they see a menu of four, they think that's all there is.
A way around this (partially) would be to copy the on-line auctions over to SM Pro and then make the shipping options in SM Pro only refer to auctions. Then alter the on-line inventory shipping to apply to just Vendio store sales.
Trouble is, you can't copy or move the on-line to SM Pro without losing the cross-inventory and the new auction headers.
Duh...
