I just started my free trial for a Vendio Store...I am lost on if I can upload my current Ebay Store Items (that are currently running) to my Vendio Store.

OR Do I have to use Vendio image hosting when using my store. I already have a image host with a better price and unlimited storage.

Do I have to use Vendio listing tools for my Vendio store? Or are they automatically there for me to use...

I noticed that even though I only signed up for the free trial...(And I'm not use to the different catagories..ie..sales manager and such) There seems to be everything in one spot and I'm not sure what I am able to use. I got burned on the Andale Gallery that way when all I wanted to do was find info and prices so I pushed the button and ended up buying it and they still didn't tell me how much I had bought it for.. I had to hunt it down.

Any help would be appreciated as I have been trying to check out this site almost all day and filling in my store info...But it's just about got me fried since now I am more confused on what I can and cannot do and what I actually have access to and of course the the questions up above.

Thanks.... I hope I didn't wear you out but I really want a store that can be viewed from a broader angle than my Ebay store.

Oh yea.... One more question....Does anyone know if I can have my Vendio Store and then seperately list Auctions on Ebay since I don't want my auction items in my Vendio Store but I still want my customers to be able to know that I have a Vendio Store too.

Jeeezzz.... I think I'm confusing myself again.... : ) Not hard to do... : )

Thanks for any help!!

I'm not sure why you are so confused. Vendio Storefront is basically a stand alone store. You must log into Vendio and manage your images first. If you want to sell items you use the Image Hosting tab and upload images from your pc to the Image Host. Next you go to Iventory and create descriptions, amounts, and all of the other details for your item. You also attach the image (uploaded earlier) for the underlying item. The ability to manage your eBay Store from inside Vendio has just begun and I believe is available. When you launch auctions on eBay they will automatically be availble in your Store. Why wouldn't you want that feature. If someone views your eBay auction, there is an optional link you can add via Vendio that will allow people to click through to your Storefront. Conversely if someone has found your store and notices eBay items for sale underneath your category listings maybe they'll check it out. Take your time, Vendio is a good product.

Hi Melanie,

Importing your current eBay store items will get them to your Active view, but it will not import them to your Vendio store. Like auctions, only eBay Store items created through Vendio will show in your Vendio Store.

In order to get the preview image for your Vendio Store, you must attach your Vendio-hosted image to the item in your inventory. Image Hosting for stores is included in your store plan so you aren't charged extra. You can use HTML in your store item descriptions, however you won't have an item thumbnail preview showing.

Your store setup is done through the Store Wizard, found in your Store Manager tab. Item creation for your store is done through inventory, which can be accessed through Sales Manager. You can create your Vendio store categories in both places as well.

If you want your Vendio Store separate from auctions, you will need to open a new account strictly for your store. Any auctions you list through Vendio will automatically appear in your Vendio store.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Regards,

Sonya

Thank you both for the info..... It helps alot!! I guess I've just been doing my Ebay store for so long that all this extra stuff was tripping me out.... I just didn't know which direction to go first. Hopefully as I get into the processes involved it will all be more clear... I know it took me a couple of days to get use to my Ebay Store and tweak it to get it like I wanted. I'll definitly head back here if I get lost again....(well, I'm still a little lost but you know what I mean) (hopefully) Thanks again and I hope ya'll have a wonderful day!!
