When I check the item and then hit the Promote key in inventory the page comes up fine and I can make my selections. However once I hit save a box pops ups with "Invalid Parent Page" error and won't let me save.
If I click edit and then promote my items on the item page, it saves fine, but this is of course, much more time consuming.
Please advise as to what I need to do to correct this problem.

Got your email and went in and tried it again. You are right, it is working fine now.
Perhaps it was just the "infamous" glitch?
As to whether or not it is a recurring problem, I've just opened my store in the last month and have been learning as I go. This was the first day I used the Promote button.
