Can we put any items on the home page, such as specials or closeouts? I see the random gallery on the homepage, but can we customize the home page? Can we choose which products go in the home page gallery?
If you are referring to the sample items that show on your store, those are chosen at random. If you refresh them you will see it is different each time. Unfortunately there is no way to specify what goes where in that section.

Unfortunately, there's no way to customize the Store home page at this time. We are looking at improvements in this area, but for now the home page is static.
