My customers need to be able to change the amount of the S$H according to the calculations I give them. Maybe I'm different from the other Vendio sellers who don't need this kind of flexibility or have established a fixed S$H. I don't know. But, I am concerned that because Vendio does not give the customer the ability to make S$H changes and Ebay does, they all prefer to pay directly through Ebay to Paypal. And I agree. BUT, there is some notice that Vendio automatically sends out that says "please go thru 'my' vendio checkout in order to not delay your shipment" This causes concern from my customers because it appears that it is signed by me. I've read it and it does sound legitimately from me. But, I didn't write it. I don't want it. And I want to know how to stop telling my customers this!

You have the WBN set to go out automatically. If you want to stop this, please go to My Account > Post Sale Management Options and deselect the auto WBN option. Your customers will not get anything from you, unless you decide to manually send out the WBN.
Unfortunately Vendio Checkout does not allow the buyers to edit shipping -- it must be determined by the seller, prior to sending out a WBN or making a checkout available to customers. If you want to send customers calculations so that they can get the right shipping for the item, then you may want to do this outside of the WBN and checkout and then when you get the amount, you can edit the WBN and send out the notice to customers so they can pay you through Vendio.
