Is there a way to see the open shopping carts in my Vendio Store?

Also, what happens if someone puts an item in their shopping cart but logs off before paying? When she comes back will she still be able to access her open cart and complete the check-out process?

I have a customer for which I placed an item in the store, I set it up with a qty of 2. I provided the customer with the link to the store and she was supposed to go there and purchase the item. Later I checked the store and the quantity in the store was 1 but I have never received an order or payment. Maybe she put it in her cart and was going to pay later, is there a way for me to check that and can she still access the cart?

Hello,

If someone put items in their shopping cart and then shut down their browser prior to paying, the items don't remain in the shopping cart. The quantity changes only when an actual purchase is made. Your customer would have to start a new shopping cart for those items.

What happens if a person checks out at my Vendio Store but doesn't pay. Then comes back later, in a new browser session, and wants to pay? How is that handled?

Hello,

If the customer completes the checkout process, you/they will receive an email stating what their selected payment option was, along with the total amount owed.

Even if they do not submit payment right away, they can refer to the summery email to see what the total was along with their selected payment method.

So, are you saying that they can't just go through their checkout link, they have to go straigt to PayPal? And at that point, what are they supposed to do, a Send Money transaction to my email address? Or do I have to send them an invoice from PayPal? I'm a bit lost as to why the transaction would appear complete in Vendio when it really isn't. Does it still show up in my Waiting for Payment section?

Hello,

If they did not complete payment for the item it would remain in your Post Sale with no steps completed. In which case you can refer your customer back to the purchase email which states the total and other information regarding the sale -- unfortunately you would not be able to send the customer a WBN from Vendio again for the store purchase.
