For some reason, when I add a new inventory item and put 1 in the quantity available box and a 1 in the quantity in store and then save the item... it shows up on my screen as 0 available. Then I have to open the inventory item again and the quantity available box is showing 0 instead of the 1 that I originally put in there. If I put a 1 in it and then save it again it keeps the 1.

If you are putting 1 in Quantity Available first, then putting 1 in Quantity in store, it is reading the Quantity Available as being the one that is in your store. Quantity Available means items you have available that aren't up for auction or in your Vendio store for sale.
