I have a customer base of around 30,000 on Vendio. Up to this point, I haven't exploited it. When I just clicked "mailing list", there were around 850 names (with no customer rating). Is it safe to assume that these are not part of my customer base but rather people that left their e-mail addresses at my Vendio store joining the mailing list? Where else would the names have come from if I had no part in building the list?
The customers who join through your store are in the free Customers tool in Sales Manager. They are in the Storefront Mailing List. The ones in your Customer Manager, I'm not sure how they got there -- there's an option when creating listings where you can automatically import winners into Customer Manager, so they might have come from that.
You are recently inactive from Customer Manager so I'm not sure if you intended to close that subscription out -- the bulk of your customers are sitting in the free tool right now.

I'm going to renew the Customer Manager. It's taking me longer than I thought to redo the Vendio store.
When I view my Storefront Mailing list, all the entrants seem associated with a sale. I'm sure this is due to my improperly importing winners into that list. I can't find any names that are not associated with an item title.
I was curious about those that came to the Vendio store and just left their e-mail addresses. It's not important that I isolate them. I was just wondering, over the years, how many people didn't purchase but wanted to be on the mailing list.
There is a setting that I forgot to mention in Global Preferences, that allows you to specify where to import winners. You have it set to automatically import winners into your Storefront Mailing List -- this is why everyone you see is associated with a sale. Sorry, I should have mentioned this earlier.
