I just opend a store and there is one item in it. When I made the ad and came to the shipping section, I did not put in a amount for any of the shipping choices.( In my global I had picked calculated for all the ship choices. I did record the weight of the item.)NOw what I don't understand is when someone puts the item in there cart and the screen changes, it show your choice of shipping ,o.k. but no prices!
I WANT THE COSTS CALCULATED FOR THERE ZIP CODE AND NOT A FLAT FEE FOR ANYONE TO BUY IT. People closer to me would pay less, further away pay more. Where and /or how do I put a calculator in my ad?
Right now they would be paying nothing??!!?? Does the final ship fees show when they pay it??? If I was buying , I would expect to see the shipping charges listed here so I know if I want to finish the transaction. No where in the ad does it say "for shipping charges see...""
For now I will try to fill in a ship amount by edditing my ad if that is possible.
You have applied fixed shipping prices to this item in your inventory which is why no calculated option is showing. Please go to the item in inventory and edit the shipping options for it -- select 'calculated' and that should solve the problem.
Unfortunately the shipping calculator we have avialable for item display is only for auctions at this time. You would need to locate the HTML for one online to insert in your Vendio Store items, or link customers to one so they can calculate their shipping options.
Right now, your customer is being offered two flat rates to pick from for that item. Unfortunately you can only see shipping if you click on Add to Cart but there is also an option in the store wizard for you to add some basic shipping rate information -- you can fill that out for customers to get an idea of what you offer in shipping. I will log a suggestion to have this changed in stores, so customers can see the shipping rate on an item basis.
