Hi-

I'm working with pre-formatted templates in my Vendio Store.

Adding Images is a breeze, but they sometimes appear on top of my table, which is the way I like them. Other times, they show up on the left side and my table is narrow and looking weird, on the right side.

I probably need to make some HTML changes in these templates. They all look similar but the HTML is not consistent.

Is there a way to start the HTML that would place the image that I assign to that store item on the top of my description rather than on the left side?

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in answering your post! In order for your images to appear on the top center (above your table) you need to make sure that it is a wider image. I believe that the width needed there is over 200-250 pixels wide but I'd have to double check on that. Images will default to the left if they aren't wide enough.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya,
Thanks for answering. It seemed like a pretty easy thing to download, resize and delete then replace the images that are in Vendio online, BUT...I checked the images already posted and 200 pixels wide seemed to be good. Yet when I downloaded images that were less than that size, they were 200 or more pixels wide after downloading them. To test this, I replaced a 150 x150 with a 200 x 200 and it became 150 x 150 again.

I just checked on that image that I tested in the Vendio Image Hosting section online and it is 200 X 200. It's when I attached it to the store template that it was resized to 150 x 150.

My alternate thought -- I see some Vendio stores with the images on the main store page but not on the actualy lsiting pages. How can I do that?

Hello,

Do you have an example to show me? The images on the main page are images within the listings themselves.

What is the item that you have done the image resizing for?

Regards,

Sonya

That seller's store I saw when I searched DVDs is X-rated material listed under DVDs but another store is http://shop.vendio.com/frank1701/home.html. The images actually appear in a frame on the listing.

You can also see http://shop.vendio.com/emeraldcoast/item/764863983/index.html where the seller is selling the same products as I am and he uses a standard image that appears in the mail store page but not outside the frame in the listing. These are zoom images, though.

The image that I resized which appears in my image hosting as 250 X 250 and in my store listing as 150 x 150 is my img223.jpg. The store url for that one is http://shop.vendio.com/threadsofgold/item/771605413/index.html

On my store item http://shop.vendio.com/threadsofgold/item/771605416/index.html the image stayed the original size. All of these images were taken from the original URLs but most of them were shrunk when attached to the store write-up, but not this one. An exception is my item http://shop.vendio.com/threadsofgold/item/740768111/index.html which has a centered gif image, size only 131 X 128 pixels.
Edited Later...
GOT IT! MYSTERY SOLVED I'm working in Sales Manager Pro, but the thing with the image appearing on top of the table seems to be that it has to be wider than it is tall. This can be fixed in Paint Shop with a white border.
Thanks, Sonya! Sorry if I drove you crazy!
