I'm thinking about starting a store, but I'm a little confused as to if a Vendio store works through EBay the way an EBay store does or if a Vendio Store is by itself without any Ebay auction support. I've been doing a lot of auctions and want an EBay store for cost purposes and I use Vendio as an auction service, but if the store is not integrated with EBay like the auction service, it will take some convincing to start a Vendio store instead of an EBay Store.

Thanks for your time,

Best Regards

Our store is compatible with eBay. When you create an item for auction through our system, we'll automatically put it in your store. Also we allow you to create inventory for your items and then post these items to your store (or launch directly to eBay).

Does this answer your question? If not, please write back with a few more specifics. I'm sure some of our users will give you their input on how they cross-promote.
Best Regards,

Thanks for your reply. I have a couple of other questions. Does Vendio provide a link to my store from my auction? Do the store charges replace the Sales Manager charges or are they in addition to. I want all my auctions to stay the same and be included in my store. I have a couple of unique items that I want to sell in my store plus some over stock items at fixed prices. Do my fees for listing go down for my auctions? Are they included in the Store charges?

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

eBay does not allow links to stores directly from eBay ads. You can provide a link from your Vendio Gallery to your Vendio Store. eBay allows this because then the "off eBay" items are 2 clicks away from the eBay ad which is their policy.
Vendio store fees do not replace Sales Manager Fees. They are two different services with two different pricing structures. For more detail click the pricing link on the top of the home page Before you sign in.
Not totally clear what you are asking at the end of your post, but the more listings you do the lower the price for each listing, again see the pricing page for more detail. Also, you can list any of your items on both Vendio Store or eBay, or one or the other.

Best,
Abe

Abe: Actually all your Ebay listings go in your Vendio store.

Many of us have ebay stores and vendio stores. In fact using the "2-click rule" is a great way to showcase all of your vendio items. You can go look at one of my auctions if you wish. At the bottom there is a "click here to see my Gallery" and it takes you to my ebay auctions but they are showcased in my Vendio store so it is pretty hard for the customer to not see that are 8000 more items to chose from. This link is completely approved by EBay and I even say that in my listings as a competitor tried to get me shut down because of the link. Didn't work and I have the email from ebay approving the link.

As for your store manager charges, Abe is right, it depends on your plan. My store is "free" with my plan and at my level of postings that is what I need. I am only charged for final value fees at my plan level. There is a very good chart which helps you decide what pricing plan is best for you.

All of you items will show in your Vendio store: both ebay and non-ebay.

Good luck
Beth
